The band formed in Denver, CO in June of 2013 by long time friends Justin Schnauber, Jimmie Hansen, Blaekism, and Broox Pulford.We met at Denver’s beloved dive bar the Carioca Cafe (Bar Bar) in 2008 and started Sunland which lasted a few years before disbanding. After years of playing in many other bands and a few kids later we decided to get back together to form Taverns.
